Reddit has revamped its user profiles to offer a more comprehensive view of user activity. The updated profiles now feature:

New Privacy and Control Features
Users can now customize what information is visible on their profiles through the “Curate Your Profile” menu. Key controls include:
- Ability to restrict certain profile details from public view
- Options to hide activity within specific subreddits
- Maintaining privacy over sensitive or personal community engagements
Moderator Access and Transparency
Despite these privacy settings, subreddit moderators retain access to a user’s full profile activity for 28 days after interactions such as posting, commenting, or modmail communication. This access helps moderators accurately assess user contributions and suitability within communities.
While this raises some privacy considerations, Reddit trusts moderators with this transparency to maintain community standards.
